D&T Shipping provides both regular and emergency towing throughout The Bahamas and its neighboring territories. Its towing tugboats range from 1,000 HP to 45 ton bollard pull.
We provide numerous services including deep-water sediment removal, decontamination, maintenance, deepening, widening or enlarging existing access channels, berths and turning basins used by larger vessels.
Barges Rental | We rent barges for transport materials and equipment, if necessary a tug service also could be included.
With a capacity of up to seven thousand short tons.
We are capable of towing, re-floating a vessel, or effectively repairing a ship at sea.
International Convention on Salvage
We provide Garbage Disposal, according to MARPOL Annex V to eliminate and reduce the amount of garbage being discharged into the sea from ships.
Sets new regulatory requirements regarding the disposal of garbage from ships and it came into force at the beginning of this year.
The new amendments prohibit the disposal of almost all kinds of garbage at sea.
As a result of these regulations more and more ships are disposing their ship-generated waste to reception facilities ashore.
We are engaged and committed with a clean environment, assisting and providing Ships with the disposal of plastic, food, domestic waste, and cooking oil in The Bahamas.
We are capable of transporting various commodities using its tug and barge tandems. Its tug and barges are used to transport sand, iron, containers, and similar products.

Installation and start-up of Buoys Metoc;
Implementation of navigation aids systems;
